In its pursuit of fostering economic development and collaboration, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Permanent Conference of African and French-speaking Consular Chambers and Intermediary Organizations (CPCCAF), aiming to establish a robust framework for collaboration to propel the African private sector and enhance its economic visibility.
Under this MoU, ICCD will utilize its extensive OIC-wide platform to connect CPCCAF members with the private sector across OIC member countries. This effort aims to promote the upcoming events and training programs designed to boost skills essential for economic transformation and sustainability of small and medium enterprises in Africa. Additionally, it will also foster stakeholder engagement to drive forward collaborative projects and facilitate the exchange of best practices and policy insights.
In this regard, CPCCAF will play a crucial role in engaging stakeholders to help ICCD organize international events in key regions, including France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Canada (Québec), thereby amplifying the impact of this partnership. Additionally, it will provide business advisory services and share its model for African cooperation and development, while promoting women’s inclusion and economic empowerment in emerging African countries. Furthermore, CPCCAF will assist in connecting African nations with international organizations in these specified regions.
In this context, both parties are committed to utilizing their resources to realize the objectives outlined in the MoU, aligning with their mutual goals of economic transformation and inclusivity.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards uniting the efforts of ICCD & CPCCAF in addressing common challenges and promoting favorable business policies
