          In light of ICCD’s relentless pursuit towards advancing the Islamic economy globally, we are honored to announce the successful conclusion of the Global Muslim Business Forum 2022, which was held virtually on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, entitled “The Rise of the Global Islamic Economy: Refocusing, Resetting and Recovering in the Post-pandemic Era “, and co-organized by ICCD with the Strategic Institute for Asia and the Pacific, the Kuala Lumpur Economic Club and Global One.

           Within the framework of ICCD`s strenuous efforts towards supporting the Islamic economy and enhancing its resilience to confront various crises and challenges, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, Secretary-General of ICCD, met with H.E. Dr. Ma’ruf Amin, Vice-President of the Republic of Indonesia, on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the office of the Vice President in Jakarta, Indonesia, aiming at exploring aspects of joint cooperation between the two parties in various economic and developmental fields.   

The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Developmentis honored to announce the successful closure of ICCD’s 33rd Board of Directors meeting and 38th General Assembly Meeting, chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdallah Saleh Kamel, President of ICCD, on July 17-18, 2022 and hosted by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Muscat – Oman.

In light of ICCD`s ongoing efforts to achieve sustainable development in all Member States, we have the honour to announce the successful conclusion of the regional workshop entitled “Microfinance and the Transition to Sustainability”, which was held – in person and virtually – in partnership with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), and sponsored by Albaraka Forum for Islamic Economy, on 14 – 15 June 2022, at FEDCOC Headquarters- Cairo.   

The Eighth Africa Future Forum “Africa Forum of Investment and Commerce” witnessed wide participation and successful conclusion in the presence of prominent high-level government officials, ambassadors, international businessmen and representatives of economic institutions from more than 30 countries, under the title “African Production” on 11-12 May 2022 in Algiers.
